Katherine turned 11 today. She started the day with her favorite breakfast - strawberry pancakes, bacon, and orange juice. As 
usual, I made her pancakes into the shapes of her initials (K E G) as 
well as an 11. We wouldn't sing to her or let her open her gifts until 12:03 
- her birth time! In the meantime, she wore a pillow on her behind so that no one could give her birthday spankings!When present time finally came she got: 3 bracelets and a necklace from Rebekah, 3 books and a Sudoku puzzle book from Kimberly, and picture frame (with a photo of her and Matthew), a pair of pink leggings, and a science kit from Keith and I. She also got a card from her grammy and papa with birthday money.
Katherine's birthday party will be in a couple of weeks and it will be a Hogwarts Party. She is very excited!
