Elder Snowman Guin

Rebekah came up with a great snowman idea and all three girls worked hard at making it a reality. The result was priceless!

Time for Some Snow Fun!

January 20th brought 5 inches of snow to Sanford and the kids had a great time playing. Snowmen were built, forts and snow angels appeared, and snowball fights were fought and won. It was so much fun! I think I could handle another snow day this year. Not too many more, but one would be nice!

Christmas with Faith, Kyle, Gena, and Jaxson

There are FAR too many of these photos to try and put them in the right order. We had a wonderful time with Faith, Kyle, and the kids. I love the picture collage they gave me of our family and theirs. Keith got the lug wrench he had been wanting. Gena and Jaxson got fun books on topics they like. Kyle got something for grilling out. And Faith got something for her home - an Easter Bunny!

Now, that is a story. Faith was being silly about what she might be getting. She guessed a jar of honey for the body wash. She guess paper for the angel ornaments. And she guess an Easter Bunny for her .... yes, her Easter Bunny! I started to laugh so hard that I cried!

It was a great day. We love to have them visit.

Christmas - The "Big" Gifts

Rebekah got a hot pink bean bag chair. Katherine got a Hannah Montana comforter set, and Kimberly got a digital camera!

Christmas - Keith to me, Me to Keith

Since I am the one with the camera most of the time, I do not have a photo of me opening anything other than the "Santa" gifts. Keith found me two beautiful houses for my stocking - a clock factory and a tailor shop. He also found me 4 pairs of earrings and got me a new purse!

For his stocking he got new socks (I know, lots of fun!), a keychain flashlight and a few other goodies. He also got a new nativity set.

Christmas - To Keith from the Girls

Katherine got Keith a photo frame of some of his family. Kimberly got him a couple of wallet sized photos to show off to people and some earphones he had been wanting. And Rebekah added to his nativity collection by creating a booklet that has the account of Jesus' birth from Luke.

Christmas - To Mom from Matthew

Although Matthew had already left on his mission, he had the girls put his gift for me under the tree. I have a big village I put up every year that I've been collecting since 1989. Matthew found me 5 different pieces - a warehouse, a factory, a boarding house, a grocery store, and an inn.
