What Is This Stuff About Blogs

For those of you who are not familiar with it, this portion of our web page is actually what is known as a blog. A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog
is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated frequently using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog. Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in chronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominently.

Most blogs are published by individuals. Business is increasing its use of blogs. Blogs played quite a large role in the election. It was the blogging community that exposed the forgeries of President Bush's National Guard records on CBS. And blogs were used to get the early, put flawed, exit poll results out on election day.

There is an informative, non-techy
Christian Science Monitor article if you want to learn more.
There are a lot
of free options for blogging. Let me know if you have an interest in
starting your own blog.
