It's Kimberly's 17th Birthday Today

At just after 1 in the morning, on an Easter Sunday, Kimberly was born. She was going to be named Jennifer with Laura as a second place name. As soon as I saw her, I KNEW she was neither but had no idea what it should be. The nurses called her "Bunny." Matthew came up with the idea of Kimberly and she became Kimberly Marie - Marie after me. Only years later did I find out that Matthew had been watching Power Rangers and that there was a Matthew Power Ranger and the pink was was Kimberly. He thought it would be cool!!! Luckily, it is a very good name for her!

We had a little family celebration today and she will be taking some of her friends with her to the ice skating rink soon.

Rebekah loves to decorate for birthdays. Her theme was "frogs" and it was really cute!

Time to open presents! Flip flops from Katherine, PJs from Rebekah, necklace, Tinkerbell T-shirt and Twilight book from Keith and Teri.

Strawberry shortcake ice cream bars. And just because there is no cake doesn't mean that there are no candles! Make a wish!
