Happy Halloween!

We participated in a 4H pumpkin carving contest and Katherine and Kimberly did a Cinderella carriage together and won best youth pumpkin. Rebekah did a pumpkin with a friend's child and did a diva. It was a good time.

We also had fun at the Ward Trunk or Treat. Dinner was served, a pumpkin contest took place (the carriage won again!), there was a costume contest, and then the kids went trunk to trunk for candy. Only Katherine was  young enough to participate this year in the trunk fun, but the rest of us passed out the candy!

A House? Yes, It Seems So!

As long as all the details go as planned, Keith and I will be homeowners on Nov 20th! We began the process on Monday and found and put in an offer on our house on Thursday. After a bit of dickering, we settled on a price and now the paperwork begins!

Teri's Birthday

 Rebekah decorated beautifully as always. The theme was "All About Me." She highlighted my kids, my art, my books, and photos of me when I was growing up. She also had a cute centerpiece with things that reminded her of me. And of course, the MOM banner over my head where I sit!

I got my camera as my official gift, but that didn't stop Keith from buying me something extra. In addition to some nice smelling body soap, he bought me a beautiful jewelry box that is big enough for all my earrings!

The girls got me a great book on beginning watercolor painting. I can't wait to get started on that!

All in all, it was a fabulous day! Thanks everyone!

New Toys

We've had a few additional toys added to the household these past 2 weeks. I got a new Nikon SLR D 3000 and we all got a Wii with Wii Fit and Sports Resort! Of course, the first things I took photos of were my family.

Kimberly wanted to see if it stopped the action - it did!

For the Wii, we all made our characters and then had to play a few games. Kimberly really got into the wake boarding!
