Rebekah got a call back!

There is a new pilot for Nickelodeon called Uncle Rhubarb and the Pickle Patch. Rebekah auditioned for it and now has a call back - one of six girls! She will be doing her second audition at the Blue Ridge Motion Picture Studio in Asheville on Dec 6th! We are very proud of her. Be sure to think "Break a Leg" on Saturday at 1!

Rebekah's Upcoming Audition

There is an opportunity for young actors to audition for a pilot TV show for the Nickelodeon network on Saturday at 10. They are seeking a boy and a girl ages 11 to 13 who look young for their age to star in a new series called Uncle Rhubarb and the Pickle Patch. If she were to get in, the filming would be in Asheville either the 2nd week of Dec. or the 2nd week of January and she would get paid! She has to be prepared read from sides given at the audition and also be prepared to improv.

So, be sure to think of her on Saturday and don't think good luck - think break a leg!

Keith's Birthday

Keith turned 59 on Monday. We had a nice family celebration. Rebekah made Keith's favorite apple cake as his birthday cake and decorated the dining area like a jungle. She got her inspiration from Keith's elephant collection - Republican elephants! Keith got some office supplies from me, a Republican tie from Kimberly, a soft throw from Rebekah, and a blue shirt from Katherine. He enjoyed his day - even if you don't see big smiles!

Just as an aside - never ask Keith to smile for a photo. He ends up looking like he's on major drugs! lol

Halloween

Katherine had several different Halloween events this year. First she had a party with her GS troop at her leader's house. Then she had her pumpkin carving contest. Then she had trunk or treat at church, and finally, she had trick or treat! Her first party was 2 weeks before Halloween so we didn't have her costume ready. Instead she went as a graduate. Her "real" costume was a tube of toothpaste!

Rebekah and Kimberly had to miss the church activity because of Footloose. The same with trick or treating, though they are getting too old for that part! lol However, last night, the cast of the show had a Halloween party/costume contest.
