Rebekah is in Temple Teens and they performed at a fall festival. Of course, we all went to hear Rebekah sing and then we stayed around for a while. Rebekah took a boat ride. So did Katherine. Kimberly played putt putt. I was hot so I sat in the shade with Keith. Katherine had gotten her face painted with a turtle (the festival was actually Lake Fest). Then, out of nowhere, Keith says, "Come on Katherine, show me where to get my face painted." So, he came back with frog! Then Rebekah got in on the deal with a duck and TT for Temple Teens of course! Can anyone imagine Keith with his face painted? No? That's why we took plenty of pictures!!!!!!!!!!

Temple Teens
Rebekah had a Temple Teen performance today at Carolina Trace - a country club community in Lee County. The Temple Teens are kids ages 12 to 18 that learn a 30 minute song and dance program showcasing songs from the upcoming Temple Theater shows. Here are a few pictures. If you go to the link below, you can see a video. Please keep in mind that I am no good at videoing something especially with my tiny camera that isn't really meant to take photos!

Walking to the Point
The point is the end of the island that gets covered up during high tide and leaves beautiful etched out places when it recedes. It is always a fun walk. The picture of Kimberly standing along what looks like a river is really just where the water was rushing back out into the Sound. Can you believe what erosion! How gorgeous.

Kayaking at the Beach
I learned to kayak years ago at Girl Scout camp. It has been years and years since I've tried but it is like riding a bicycle - it all comes back to you. Kimberly and Katherine both learned at GS camp as well, with Kimberly having 3 years experience and Katherine learning just this year. Rebekah got to learn at the beach this year. And Keith...well, Keith is typically afraid of water and we were surprised when he decided to give it a try!
