Fierce thunderstorms break dry spell, bring high water, outages and a respite from heat

The dry spell in North Texas was all wet Thursday.
A line of thunderstorms pounded the area with heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds, and brought lower temperatures."
They eventually made it to Dallas and got a hotel room at 2am. They HOPE to arrive in Raleigh tonight at 11:30! What a way to end a trip!!
